Liebe Coursingteilnehmer.
Schweren Herzens müssen wir Ihnen leider mitteilen, dass das Coursing auf Gut Basthorst ausfällt. Zu unser Bedauern, hatten wir zum Coursing nur 51 gemeldete Hunde. Auch wenn uns und unseren Lieblingen gerade das Coursing besonders viel Spaß bringt, ist eine Durchführung bei dieser geringen Meldezahl nicht möglich.
Bereits im vergangenen Jahr haben wir trotz ähnlicher Meldezahlen ein Coursing durchgeführt und entsprechend über 500€ Verlust gemacht. Solche hohen Verluste kann sich leider unser recht kleiner Verein nach der Corona Zeit nicht mehr leisten. Die Vereinsreserven sind nicht mehr vorhanden und ein entsprechender Verlust hätte die mögliche Zahlungsunfähigkeit des Vereins bedeutet.
Erfreulicherweise darf ich Ihnen jedoch mitteilen, dass die Ausstellung am 23.04. wie geplant stattfinden kann. Wir haben hier über 95 Meldungen erhalten.
Falls es unter Ihnen Teilnehmer gibt, die nur beide Veranstaltungen (Coursing & Ausstellung) bei uns besuchen wollten und nach dem Ausfall des Coursing nun auch nicht mehr an der Ausstellung teilnehmen wollen, teilen Sie mir dies entsprechen bis Mittwochabend (22 Uhr) mit. Ich würde ihre Meldung auch zur Ausstellung entsprechend kostenfrei stornieren.
Abschließend bleibt mir nur noch mich bei Ihnen zu bedanken und zu entschuldigen.
Entschuldigen für die leider schlechte und kurzfristige Nachricht mit der Absage des Coursings.

Dear coursing participants.
It is with a heavy heart that we must inform you that the coursing at Gut Basthorst has been cancelled. To our regret, we had only 51 registered dogs for the coursing. Even though the coursing is a lot of fun for us and our darlings, it is not possible to organize it with this low number of registrations.
Already last year, despite a similar number of registrations, we held a coursing and accordingly made a loss of over 500€. Such high losses can unfortunately not afford our quite small club after the Corona time. The club reserves are no longer available and a corresponding loss would have meant the possible insolvency of our small club.
Fortunately, however, I may inform you that the exhibition on 23.04. can take place as planned. We have received over 95 entries here.
If there are participants among you, who only wanted to visit both events (coursing & exhibition) and who do not want to participate in the exhibition after the cancellation of the coursing, please inform me accordingly until Wednesday evening (10 p.m.). I would cancel your registration free of charge also for the exhibition.
Finally, it only remains for me to thank and apologize to you.
